Desiring God's Face
Why should we desire for God’s face to shine upon us?

Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes. Psa 119:135
Desiring for God's face to shine upon us, as expressed in Psalm 119:135, signifies seeking His favor, guidance, and blessings. When God's face shines upon us, it symbolizes His approval and presence in our lives. This divine favor brings peace, protection, and a deeper understanding of His teachings. By asking for God's face to shine upon us, we are also expressing our desire to be close to Him and to live according to His statutes. This closeness to God helps us navigate life's challenges with wisdom and grace.

The Face of Jesus Christ:
· Mat 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
· 2Co 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Our Future Hope:
· 1Co 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
