WHAT ARE YOU FILLED WITH?

What are you filled with?

Philippians 1:9-11 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Many hearts are being filled by Satan to lie (Acts 5:3), filled with indignation (Acts 5:17), with envy (Acts 13:45), with confusion (Acts 19:29), etc. Romans 1:29-31: Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

However, we as Christians are of them that are filled with the Holy Spirit, and He fills us with the fruits of righteousness. We are full of joy (Acts 13:52; 2 Timothy 1:4), full of goodness and knowledge (Romans 15:14), filled with the company of believers (Romans 15:24), filled with comfort (2 Cor. 7:4), filled with the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19), filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Col. 1:9), etc. Galatians 5:22-23: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

James 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

2 Corinthians 9:10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;

·       Note that God will increase your fruits as you sow the seed by ministering to others.

·       Also, if your appetite for God is filled, you won’t be hungry for the devil’s food.
