We went from not able not to sin to able not to sin and able to do good works.

·       Before salvation: Spiritually blind / After salvation: We see with spiritual eyes.

·       Before: spiritually deaf / After: We hear and respond to Jesus’ teaching

o  Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

·       Before: Our mind was darkened; we called the good, bad; and we called the bad, good. / After: We have the mind of Christ; our minds are being renewed.

o  Jeremiah 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

·       Before: We were hard hearted, and we hated God. After: Our hearts are softened. We love God.
