·        Opposites of Deliberate: hasty, thoughtless, and accidental

·        Synonyms of deliberate: thoughtful, careful, cautious, wary, meditative, purposeful, premeditated, intentional, on purpose, ponder, reflect, consider

1.      Be deliberate in spending time with God in Bible study, meditation, thanksgiving, and prayer. Psalm 1:2-3

2.      Be deliberate in blessing others with help and encouragement.

3.      Be deliberate in the friends you make and with whom you spend time.  Psalm 1:1; 2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

4.      Be deliberate in cleaning up your environment. Get rid of those things that tempt you into sin. Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.

5.      Be deliberate in saturating yourself in the environment of our church. Be faithful to all the services as much as you are able. Colossians 3:15-16 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
