Temptation - A Wa to Escape
With the Temptation

With the Temptation
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Notice the phrase ‘with the temptation’.
Websters: ‘With’ denotes or expresses some situation or relation of nearness, proximity, association, connection, or the like.
The preposition ‘with’ is an important preposition in the above verse. It denotes that along side of the temptation God is at work making a way of escape from the temptation. God is at work near the temptation and at the same time as the temptation. God would have to take us out of this world for us to not be tempted. We live in a world full of temptations, but God makes a way for us to not fall.
Jesus saves us from the penalty of sin and from the power of sin. We do not have to sin (Romans 6). With every temptation to sin, at that very moment we can escape Satan’s snare. God desires for us to exercise faith at those moments. Believe God.
The escape route is nearby. It is not hard to find. Look for it.
Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
