Blessed has to do with enjoying spiritual happiness and the favor of God. According to the Apostle Paul, there is a good sowing and reaping: Galatians 6:8-9 “… he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

There are consequences to our faith and behavior. We are never spiritually neutral. We are in darkness or light. We are spiritually blind or perceptive. There are hundreds of promises in the Bible to those who love God and love righteousness. Don’t give in to spiritual apathy and depression. Here are a few encouraging promises from Psalms:

·       Psalm 1:1 - Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
