WELCOME TO FRIEND DAY

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly… Proverbs 18:24a

It is our hope that all our visitors today see that we are a friendly church. Each one of us can participate in the friendliness of our church. Let us go out of our way to greet our visitors in a friendly manner. Put on a smile! Some of the visitors who come may be coming with a hopefulness that we are a church that they would like. Let’s AWE them. Let’s make their experience much greater than their expectation, so that they will look forward to returning. Pastor King suggested a few ideas that we can put into practice that can help:

·       If you see visitors looking for a seat, please help them find a seat. Maybe you could scoot over or give them your seats.

·       Please do not suggest the balcony for visitors. We should go out the way to accommodate them in the auditorium.

·       If you can go up the stairs, you may choose to sit in the balcony for the 10:30 AM service.

·       Do not hurry off after the service. Look around and see if there are visitors you can greet.

Note: Some of the visitors who come may not be saved. They will hear Gospel messages at our church. Your friendliness may lead to some hearing the gospel and getting saved. Think about it.
