MEN OF PRAYER

I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. 1 Timothy 2:8

Paul is admonishing men and women. In this verse he is speaking to the men. He admonishes men to pray. Statistics show that women are more faithful in church attendance and in prayer. God calls on men to be spiritual leaders. We need to be men of prayer. We need to set the example for our sons, daughters, and grandchildren.

As men and as fathers we should not be known for our anger, but for our faith and devotion to God. Ephesians 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Let’s be the men and fathers God wants us to be.
