A PLANTED TREE

Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

To Plant: “To set in the ground for growth, as a young tree” – Webster 1913

Have you ever planted a tree. I can think of two trees that I planted. One grew somewhat but never bore fruit, the other one died. I take the blame. I didn’t know enough about the tree and what it needed. God knows each tree in His forest. He knows what we need to grow and flourish. God has set each of us in rich soil for the purpose of growth and fruitfulness. He is the planter. We have been planted. We are each a tree that stays ever green. You are a PLANTED TREE!

Psalm 92:13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
