USA – 2017
Most people, even the unsaved, tolerate
Bible preaching and teaching as long as it’s
in general terms and is without personal application.
As Bible-Believing Americans, please consider the following. In contrast to days-gone-by, Churches in America now have their doors open for an hour or so on Sunday morning and doors closed on Sunday night and Wednesday night. A minority of American Churches have open doors to preach and teach the inspired, preserved Bible at least four times a week, Sundays and Wednesdays.
I hear concerned folks lament, “What’s gone wrong with our nation?” The answer is obvious: the vast majority of professing Christians no longer make a priority of “hearing” (Rom. 10:17) the unadulterated Word of God. The Bible was taken out of public education decades ago. However, far worse is the Bible taken out of Churches by the diminished opportunities to hear its precepts expounded. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears (2 Tim. 4:3). God ordained local New Testament Churches to be citadels of Truth and Righteousness (1Tim. 3:15). With the weekly reduction of Bible instruction across America, it is as if history is repeating itself. “… because the word of the LORD was precious [scarce] in those days … truth is fallen in the street … every man did that which was right in his own eyes (1Samuel 3:1; Isaiah 59:14; Judges 17:6).
In the light of the Lord’s return and the reduction of Church attenders (Heb. 10:25), Bible-Believers (especially those having children) have an imperative to avail themselves to every opportunity to hear Bible teaching and preaching. – Pastor

RU gives you tools to battle victoriously satanic forces that would use bitterness, discouragement, depression, loneliness, addictions, and life’s circumstances to defeat us. We have a great curriculum for the study of the fruit of the Spirit and fruits of righteousness. We have THREE TALKS:
- We talk to God in Prayer and Testimonies.
- We talk to each other in our Challenge Groups.
- God talks to us through the teaching of His Word.
