Please Welcome Today

Dean and Brenda Hendrix

Our very own Dean Hendrix will be teaching the Adult Bible Class and preaching the main morning service. Dean and his beloved wife, Brenda, presently serve as Church planters with a special emphasis on Spanish-speaking people in Thornton, Colorado … a part of metropolitan Denver. Prior to this ministry, in 1987, they answered God’s missionary call to Ponce, Puerto Rico where they faithfully served as Church planters until 2003. Two Churches were planted out of their main Church, and both of these Churches have Puerto Rican pastors. The Hendrix family moved to Denver, Colorado to begin a Church planting ministry among the Spanish speaking people. For the first three years, they worked through Tri-City Baptist Church in Westminster and Faith Baptist Church in Longmont. Presently, their ministry continues as the Iglesia Bautista de Tri-City, having two services each Lord’s Day, a Wednesday evening service and a Bible study on Friday nights.

What a wonderful privilege our sovereign God has given us, to prayerfully and financially invest in the life-ministry of the Dean and Brenda Hendrix!

Revival: Participation … Most Beneficial!

Last week on “this sacred ground,” ten souls were saved! In addition, our Church families and individuals – faithful in attendance and prayerfully involved – were edified and enlightened by the Bible teaching and Gospel preaching of Ron Comfort!

Since the 1960’s, Dr. Comfort has been America’s foremost local Church evangelist and revivalist. In the 58 years of our Church’s existence, he and his dear wife, Joyce, have successfully ministered to us during 23 revival meetings. Surely, they will share in the heavenly rewards of the totality of the Lord’s accomplished work on (again) – “this sacred ground.”

Our Church family has been allowed by God to gain extreme benefits by our participation in a spiritual awakening. Because of work, illness, unforeseen circumstances, I’m understanding of Church family members providentially hindered from attending all services. However, after nearly six decades of Church activities, I do not understand – frankly I’m amazed – that any of God’s “born-agains,” knowing our Lord and surely desiring His benefits / blessing, do not have a deep conviction that all biblical preaching is an urgent priority (Rom 10:17).

I am your Pastor, and you’ve heard me often declare, “I want God’s very BEST for you and yours.” If you missed the God-given opportunities of last week, recognize that God’s “Best” last week is lost forever for you and, if you’re a parent, for your children. Make a promise today to your God, that from this day forth you will never miss another opportunity to hear God’s Word preached whether weekly Church services or special occasion meetings!
