Pastor’s Bible Study Series:

“The Human Body … The Mystery of the Ages”

Made in His Image

God created man in his own image (Gen 1:27)

Tonight:

A DVD series examining the complexities of YOUR BODY!

Sundays: 6:00 PM

November 15 – “The Miracle of Birth”

November 22 – “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” (Psalm 139:14)

November 29 – The Miracle of Eyes”

December 13 – “The Miracle of Hands”

The Institute of Creation Research and Answers in Genesis have produced two excellent DVD series that will take us on a journey through the most complex and miraculous creation on planet earth — usThere is no better evidence of complex, conscious, intelligent design of this world than our human bodies. This series featuring medical, engineering, biological, and anatomical experts will challenge us and instruct us with mind-boggling, dazzling imagery, and memorable illustrations.

Tonight at 6:00:  “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made”   The question is NOT when did YOUR life  begin, but when did YOU as a PERSON begin.  Dr. David Menton, Ph.D. explains from anatomical science and biology the truth Psalm 139:13-16 that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made … that God weaves us together as a new human being in the   womb of our Mother. This graphically illustrated discourse also reveals the amazing and intricate design of the womb and the processes of fertilization, implantation, embryonic development, and birth itself. Dr. Menton shows that each of these is a series of miracles (irreducible complexities) that cannot be explained by evolution – a theory of chance and random processes. Even more essential, as Dr. Menton explains with grace and sensitivity in the wrap-up of the video, is the second “birth” process of salvation taught by our dear Lord in John 3:1-16.

As your Pastor, I promise you that this presentation tonight will increase your confidence in our Bible – God’s Word – that scientifically declares that a glorious Creator formed us in His image. You need to invite your friends and family to be here with you tonight!

THANKSGIVING PRAISE SERVICE

7:00 pm, Tuesday, November 24

In some way, all of us should lift up our hearts in Thanksgiving to our God for “our salvation,” “our family,” “our Church,” “our country,” “our health,” “our job,” “our home,” “our prosperity,” etc.

Included in today’s bulletin is a Personal Thanksgiving Testimony sheet designed specifically for the Tuesday Praise Service. Before we assemble, each is asked to write a brief one or two sentence of appreciation for a particular person or a particular circumstance.
