ALL OF US DADS 0UGHT TO BE LIKE FATHER ABRAHAM!
God said of his servant Abraham: “For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.” (Gen 18:19)
A SPECIAL welcome today for all FATHERS attending the services.
We have a gift for each of you.
Four categories of Fathers will be recognized:
The newest Father
The eldest Father
The oldest Father “in the Lord” (number of years saved)
The Father with the most children, grandchildren,
great-grandchildren (total of all)
And, ye FATHERS, provoke not your children to wrath:
but bring them up in the nurture
and admonition of the Lord. (Eph. 6:4)
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
A “PROFESSOR” OF CHRIST AND A “POSSESSOR” OF CHRIST?
THE PROFESSOR OF CHRIST SAYS THAT HE/SHE IS SAVED, BUT IS DISOBEDIENT TO GOD’S WORD AND HAS AN UNCHANGED LIFESTYLE (NO GOOD WORKS). They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate (Titus 1:16).
THE POSSESSOR OF CHRIST IS BOTH OBEDIENT TO GOD’S WORD AND EVIDENCES GOOD WORKS (LIFESTYLE CHANGES, SERVICE, AND SEPARATION). Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). See 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 & Romans 12:1, 2.
YOU ARE YOUR OWN JUDGE – WHICH ARE YOU?

NTBC Theme for 2015
“Keep Faith Pristine In Twenty Fifteen”
‘Keep Faith Pristine in Twenty Fifteen’ is based on 2 Timothy 4:7 – I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
“To keep the faith” is to claim the promises in God’s Word and apply them to my particular problems. “To keep the faith” is confidence in God’s faithfulness to me in an uncertain world, on an uncharted course, through an unknown future.
THE NEXT STEP
- Study through the Fruits of the Spirit.
- Find fellowship with other growing believers.
- Strengthen and revive your walk with God.
- Develop a personal, dynamic, love relationship with Christ.
