Night of the Father’s Love

(The Awe and Mystery of God with Us)
This morning you will be blessed by the cantata that our choir has been preparing several months for.

All of the mystery, the awe, and the palpable excitement of that night are imaginatively captured in a Christmas mosaic that combines fragments of the familiar with a unique perspective in word and music. “Night of the Father’s Love” skillfully guides the listener through the Christmas story, as though hearing it again for the first time.

Recalling That First Christmas Eve

This Evening at 6:00 PM

Unless providentially hindered, every member of our Church Family can make a spiritual commitment that being in God’s House is the priority to celebrate the first advent of Christ.

A one-hour service will prepare us to enjoy and appreciate the significance of our Lord Jesus Christ’s birth in Bethlehem.  Encourage family, friends and out of town guests to join with you in this celebration and worship of Emmanuel.

(Please note the time … the service starts promptly at 6 PM)

Next Sunday, December 31

Unified Service: 10:30 AM – Noon

No Sunday School Classes at 9:30 AM

No Evening Service at 6:00 PM

In order to allow all of us to spend a bit more time with families, we will have one unified service next Sunday closing out the year. (Also, to keep us off the streets, i.e., New Year’s Eve inebriated populace.)

Let’s close the year 2017 with a meaningful service to bring honor and glory to our Great God. He has enabled us for over fifty-eight years to be effectively winning souls to the Saviour, edifying His family in this local congregation, planting Gospel-preaching Churches across our Nation, sending and supporting Missionaries around the World.

I believe praises on this sacred ground – dedicated to our Lord – are very much in order on the last day of the year.

Last Week’s Christmas Offering – $6392.00

Many of our folks gave their Christmas gifts last Sunday, If you didn’t, please present your gift in worship to our Lord today.  It is not too late to get in on another promised blessing of the Saviour, demonstrating that “it is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). A Christmas offering is just one scriptural approach of venerating Him. The wise men … fell down, and worshipped Him; and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto Him gifts … (Matt 2:11)

RU gives you tools to battle victoriously satanic forces that would use bitterness, discouragement, depression, loneliness, addictions, and life’s circumstances to defeat us. We have a great curriculum for the study of the fruit of the Spirit and fruits of righteousness. We minister to all, not to just the addicted. Come visit us.
