“Last Days” Phenomenon!
Less faith in God’s Word / More “faith” in man’s theories
The world’s scientific community continues to accept theories as facts. The evolution hoax and “the big bang” are the two biggies evidencing just how smart modern man has become. God’s Word is out and men of theories are now memorialized. Christ said that this kind of thinking would characterize the last days before His return …Nevertheless when the Son of Man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8) Our Lord’s question, of course, answers itself: just before Christ returns, there will be less faith in God and His Word but more faith in ungodly man and his words / theories.
We’ve become so smart that even our theories are now fact. Stephen Hawking, arguably the most famous living physicist today, admits in his book “A Brief History of Time” (New York: Bantam Books. 1988) that he received his Ph.D. based on a theory that ended up being a false theory! That doesn’t bother modern “scientists” that call him brilliant. In his latest dismissal of the concepts underpinning the world’s religions, this British scientist recently branded heaven a “fairy story” for people afraid of the dark.
Question: who is really in the dark and afraid of the light? And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (John 3:19).

Parents: Youth camps are coming up soon. Please make sure your kids will come. Camps are for those in 4th grade through high school. Here is a good online article that gives 9 reasons to send your kid to camp. This article promotes a different camp than our kids will be going to, but the principles are the same.
For those of you interested in working in VBS talk to Jamie to see if you are needed. If she plans to use you and you haven’t already gotten your background check and child safety training done, then please go to the following website to initiate the process: www.ministryopportunities.org/ntbtucson
You will then be sent a link within a day or so to do the online training that takes approximately one hour. If you have any questions, please contact Ron Cox.
