About Us

We are an Independent Baptist Church

We are a friendly church that cares about people. Our purpose is to follow Jesus’ command to preach the Gospel to the lost, baptize those who get saved, then help them mature in their walk with God. Some may call us ‘old fashioned’ as we sing the old hymns and focus our ministries on preaching and teaching. We strive to make our church to be the kind of church that God would be pleased with. We fellowship with like churches for support of missionaries, church planters and Bible Colleges. We have been serving the community since 1959.

Practical New Testament Christianity

Jesus said, For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.. (Matt 18:20)

Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for it. (Eph. 5:25)

If Christ loved the Church, giving Himself for it, shouldn’t you? Then, shouldn’t you be in every Church service? If you asked Him, He’d likely say, “Yes! Be here; be on time.”

Local Church Attendance: “Three to Thrive”

Obedience is found in the assembling of God’s people [Heb.10:25]. God intended local church ministries to develop personal, spiritual growth. Your best interest is at heart when you are urged to make a firm commitment to be in church services three times each and every week:

1) Sunday morning (Sunday School and Church)
2) Sunday evening
3) Wednesday evening

You must endeavor to “thrive spiritually.” Today, promise your Heavenly Father that with His intervention and your determination, you will with your entire family be in church three times each week for the teaching and preaching of His Word. Never let TV, sports and secular activities, nor visitors in your home keep you away from your commitment to your church family and to your striving for spiritual growth!

Hearing Impaired Announcement

For the “Hearing Impaired” We are pleased to offer a remote hearing assistance device for those with hearing difficulties. It is available at the sound booth. So simple to use and you can be seated anywhere in the auditorium for perfect hearing! Caution: To avoid intense ringing that disturbs the entire congregation, any personal hearing aids you are wearing must be removed from your ears and turned off! Be sure to return the device to the sound booth after the service for recharging. Please do not leave the premises with it. It is expensive!
